I've been contacted by a lot of companies interested in becoming a government contractor. A lot of leg work needs to be done before you can bid on a contract. For example, you've got to establish a DUNS (Data Universal Numbering System), register in www.ccr.gov, get your certifications, figure out what to bid on, how to bid, putting together a competitve bid, and on & on. The road is involved but can be very rewarding. Imagine getting a 5-year contract for 20 employees, then another for 15 employees.
